This is currently Rick and I’s favorite bourbon. We were honestly a little scared when we first put it to the nose, it has a very unassuming smell. We had this and the Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit the same night, so we were a little scared after the Kentucky Spirit flopped. The first sip was like the nectar of the gods, the tastes were like gentle waves lapping at our tongues, each wave bringing a bit more of the character forth. Perfectly balanced, with no one flavor over riding another. The finish drew itself out long and clean with a slight glowing burn in the back of the throat. We ended up finishing the bottle that night.
